Simply put, the podcast is a masters thesis in Tori Amos, and I am so grateful for the dedication, wit, experience, and love that is so obviously poured into each and every episode. Not only does it just so happen to be about one of the topics I find most interesting in the world to talk about (and one which so few people I know in real life appreciate along with me), but it’s so well researched and well made. Even for the songs I think I know backwards, forwards, up, and down there are always clips, quotes, and context I’d never come across before. It was really during the Native Invader Tour, when I’d tune in each night for streams, setlists, wills and wants, and the pre and post-show podcasts when it dawned on me that I get much more out of supporting this podcast than I do from many of the other subscriptions in my life. I couldn’t be more thankful for and inspired by the dedication of this awesome body of work called Drive all Night.cast
